The Rock Strikes Back Ahead Of His SmackDown Match Against Cody Rhodes And Seth Rollins

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has sent a strong message ahead of his upcoming appearance on Friday Night SmackDown. After challenging Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to a tag team battle at WrestleMania 40, The Rock upped the ante by introducing new stipulations.

In a recent Instagram post, The People’s Champ boasted about routinely selling out arenas due to his star power, emphasizing his fiery personality. The tweet began with the following: “Shakin’ cities Dallas 3/8 Memphis 3/15 ~ people’s champ #electrifying @wwe @tkogrp.”

Last week on SmackDown, The Rock challenged Rhodes and Rollins to a tag team match between himself and Roman Reigns on the first night of WrestleMania 40.

If Rhodes and Rollins win, Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship fight against Reigns on Night 2 will not feature any members of The Bloodline. If they lose, the Night 2 battle will follow the “Bloodline Rules” format. In response to The Rock’s challenge, Rhodes and Rollins revealed that they will square off on the March 8th episode of SmackDown.
